At Tabatinga, we recognise that our guests have a lot of choice now days for where to go to spend their valuable social and leisure time. We appreciate each and every guest, each and every time they visit us, and to show our appreciation we aim to provide our guests with the best possible standard of service.
So we don’t leave this to chance, every new staff member must complete a comprehensive Tabatinga Customer Service training course as part of their induction process.

Tabatinga Tweed Heads hosted a Christmas Party for the under-privileged children on the Tweed Coast. The event was funded by NSWClubGRANTS and organised by Zac King (Tweed River High School), John Lees (You Have a Friend) and Sharee Campbell (Evolva Group). Santa made a visit and gave every child a Christmas present.
Big smiles were the order of the night. Tabatinga staff volunteered their time to ensure that the event went without a hitch. Thanks to Cassy, Keely, Phoebe, Victoria, Emily and Cathy for giving up their time and working on the night – another example of our Exceptional Staff!

‘.. I must say as a mum with children aged between 21 and 5 both girls and boys, and always believing in home parties, I was 110% pleased with the entire Tabatinga party experience, the before arrangement calls and support which were handled by Karinya were so professional and helpful in every way …
Karinya is an asset to your business and should be congratulated on the wonderful day Kiana had, all of the staff were kind, friendly and couldn’t do enough for me.
As the owner of a business in the past, it is not often you get such a dedicated, professional and lovely staff member as Karinya. I was so impressed and will be recommending Karinya and Tabatinga to all my families and friends. I hope this wonderful effort by Karinya doesn’t go unnoticed.
Thank you again for a wonderful experience.’

The Seagulls Club played host to a Mums & Bubs Market in the function room on the floor above Tabatinga. As the markets were coming to a close, the Club experienced a power outage plunging the room into darkness. The markets were promptly cancelled, and the stallholders were forced to carry their stock and equipment down three flights of stairs (as the lifts weren’t working).
Seeing these people struggling past the Tabatinga entrance on their way downstairs, Keely, Karinya, Victoria and Emily rolled up their sleeves and got in and helped carry stock and tables for the stallholders. For thirty minutes the girls all did multiple trips up and down helping as many people as possible. After the last stallholder was safely down, the girls had to hightail it back to Tabatinga to return to their normal duties and help their fellow staff who had to manage while the girls were lending a hand.
